Things have changed here since the last time I wrote. I'm officially going to Santa Fe, New Mexico at the beginning of March. If only my trich was under control. I've met some sketchy men online lately. The one I was so set on getting to know more is deathly allergic to cats, ugh! I am amazed at how many people I know are allergic to cats. I actually am allergic but I control it with medication. Of course I ran out of my meds 2 days ago so this morning I woke up with my eyes swollen almost shut and my nose completely plugged up thanks to MamaKitty sleeping on my head.

I would guess out of my friends a good 10-20% are allergic. When we have parties it becomes apparent because if they show up they are miserable and a lot of times they just don't come. Two of my good friends have to bring their asthma meds with them and can only stay in my house a hour or two.

I thought I was allergic to cats last year when I got my Persian. I broke out with what looked like chicken pox or hives for almost 2 months I think. I would have still kept them though if I found a medication to help with the symptoms. What is it that you take? That guy I've been talking gets some shots.

They tried to talk me into shots for 5 years and I would not do it. Currently I take Singulair and if i have a bad attack I have Nasonex nasal spray. I take one pill daily and I very rarely use the spray. As soon as they got me on the right meds my life just changed. I am not only allergic to cats but to just about everything that blooms and dust too. Even a slight soy allergy.
