I broke my computer today. I feel bad about it. It has been very loyal to me over the years. Compaq Armada 4120. It had its flaws, but I could always go back to it when the others were tripping. However, my Dell has stepped up to the plate admirably and, for example, hasn't given me the old "your virtual memory is too low" spiel for this ( Read more... )

It is a cool looking image. i put it on my myspace profile slideshow and my mom saw it. she told me i'd manipulated it to make it appear psychedelic--i did not. that's what it looked like when i turned it on, post-shattering. natural destruction-occurring effect. i do have another laptop--smaller, slightly newer, faster--and i'm using it right now. i've just not been using it b/c it hasn't been able to access more than 2-4 webpages at a time over the past 11 months. i'd only been using it to do Easyshare stuff. see, when i hit a wall with something, i tend to shrink from whatever it is and not go back to it. blips and glitches cause me to abandon a venture or pursuit altogether-no matter how easy it might actually be to solve the problem. anyway, i decided to try surfing on it again after i broke the other one and it has really been coming through. a door closes, a window opens, i guess. except that in this case, the Dell door was, um, always open, but the door knob need a little extra elbow grease and i just wasn't willing to take ( ... )
