I was about to ask you why, if you wanted it so badly, you didn't stop just doing what you were doing. Then I realised what a hypocritical question that would be since I've sort of done the same thing in the past, just maybe not as chronically. I blame it on being a musician. It's too hard to stay completely faithful when you're touring, at least when you're young. It's like standing a buffet and not being able to eat anything.

I can have vast amounts of faith, but still unable to remail faithful. Even at my age.

What we want, and what we do, don't always end up being the same thing unfortunately.

I think that everyone always wishes to be better than they truly are, or different.

It's a rather complicated and frustrating situation to be in, when you realise that sometimes you're your own worst critic and enemy to some extent.

I fear only people with no self-insight ever truly achieve everything they want from themselves.

Hello, Nick. Someone's spreading a vicious rumour about you being happy to see me were I to show my face around here.

That rumour could be being spread by just about anyone who knows me well! I am glad to see you here! Really.

Likewise. I just commented to Russell, telling him working on The Proposition was the worst experience of my career. I'm such a lying sod.
