You wouldn’t use a hammer to fix a broken vase.

You wouldn’t fix a leak with a shoe (or would you?)

You wouldn’t seek insulin for diabetes from a psychiatrist.

The same logic applies to seeking psychiatric treatment.  It just doesn’t make sense to seek that treatment from a general practitioner, unless you know there are extremely familiar with and ( Read more... )

I've found that for any doctor I see, I *must* take a list of symptoms and concerns with me. For this or any other ailment. The problems with my illness are so subtle I have to be very detailed to determine, "Is it live? Or is it Memorex?"
