A day of restlessness, in stead of rest...

So mom and dad let me stay home today without me even asking because I was so exhausted yesterday I nearly passed out at work. So needless to say I've not slept well at all, as always. I mean yeah I've laid in bed all day but without actually sleeping soundly or restfully. Oh well I did manage to clean my room and fix my broken dresser. Now IU'm ( Read more... )

too bad I'm not around there bro, I have all the time in the world to hang out and do nothing. of course if you ever get the chance to bail out, you're still welcome to come here, except "here" is now las vegas instead of san diego as you know...

well by the looks of things today it looks as if my chances of getting kicked out are slim, as opposed to a few weeks ago, butt if all else fails and I do get kicked out I might just have to come out that way.

that would be cool if there was a chance, I've had no luck at all finding a lifting partner around here. how do you just go up to someone in the gym and ask? it's kind of a hard conversation to start isn't it?

yeah kinda, its really difficult to get good lifting partners even out of people you know, some people just don't meet the intensity level required for a good workout, others can go weight for weight till a certain point but once you reach the point of puking after a squat set or screaming on the way up that turns some people off. Just kinda look around try going in at different times if possible to try and find that one hardcore guy (or gal for that matter cuz there are a few out there) let them know you are the real deal not just some fool trying to look good, (usually the best way to do that is just let them see you lift some big weight). Then after a workout one day just kinda make small talk and lead around to lifitng and see if they need a partner. Otherwise if that doesn't work do like I do, lift on your own and when you need a spot find the guy that looks capable of doing it, and if there is no single one get a couple to help out.
