Very much shaken up.

So shaken up, in fact, that he forgot to be with people.  To track people.  To stay in public places.  Which is really, very important when one is running from a demented vampire, out for blood.

Or not. Light has been waiting for him. It's not hard to make Near simply not notice Light as he walks past where he stands next to the door.

Oh course, he'll notice when Light closes the door.

N sighs softly and runs fingers through his hair. Being split... so torn... it had showed him how off-balance he really was.

He makes his way to the desk when the door closes.

N does not like that sound.

Turning slowly, his eyes flickered over, biting at his lower lip. His heart dropped into his stomach and started beating a mile a minute, eyes widening as he gave a small gasp of realization.
