So.  Gevanni's place is nice and all, and Near's starting to feel like maybe he can go out again.  He's only been able to make quick runs to the kitchen the past two weeks--Gevanni's done it for him until then--but other than that, he's stayed in.  Thought.  Slept.  Build a tower that would rival any other Near's greatest achievement.  Put together ( Read more... )

When Near hears the door open, and someone stumble through, he assumes it's A. He's going to sit up, but then it slams, so he just wraps himself tighter in the comforter and waits to see who's there, without emerging from the pile of blankets.

Ouch.

Yeah. He probably should have remembered that little trickery aspect about the mansion.

"Nn--ow."

N sits up, rubbing his shoulder, and looking towards the door in confusion. He briefly notes all of A's paperwork laying around, but doesn't quite make the connection yet, nor does he notice the oddly-shaped bundle of blankets.

"Damn."

The voice hits him after a moment, and his eyes widen, as he stands up a bit quicker than he should have after being thrown like that.
