"You can't go tomorrow?"

Of course there was a hint of worry in Jun's voice. There was something in Jun that was overly caring and sympathetic, and an excuse from tomorrow's excursion was sure to arouse them. Sho knew that, but he didn't know how else to explain himself.

"Yeah. I just have a slight fever, that's all." Sho bit his tongue. Now he's done it. He shouldn't have said fever. "But I'm going to be fine! I just need a good long rest and I'll be all right tomorrow."

"I am coming over, hold still."

Sho felt crestfallen.

It wasn't that the idea of Jun nursing him was repulsive, Sho was actually secretly happy about it. But Jun doted too much--on anybody he chose--and that made Sho a bit guilty. He heard footsteps outside his door and the sound of a key opening the door.

"Sho-kun," Jun strode to Sho's side, his hands carrying several bags of yet undetermined content. "Good, you're lying down. Have you eaten dinner?"

"Yes." Sho looked up at him. "It's nice to see you too."

"Well, I'm making you soup anyway. Are you taking any medicine for your fever?"

"Uhm no..."

"It's good that I bought some with me then. I'll just get these things down and you just stay put."

So far, Jun has cooked several types of soup and forced Sho to eat all of them. They tasted good, of course, but now Sho was too full to budge in his place. There was also the various medicine that Jun was telling him to take.

"I think I'm allergic to that," Sho cringed as Jun lifted a spoonful of mysterious red liquid to the former's lips.

"This is natural medicine. You can't be allergic to something natural." Jun deadpanned and urged Sho to swallow it.

"How do you know? I seriously think I'm allergic to it." It was the third unknown substance Jun has brought to his lips and if the last two were similar to this one--bitter, with a taste that sticks to your throat--then Sho didn't want any of it.

"This is the last one," Jun promised. "And it'll make you feel better faster."

"But you have to kiss me after."

"Pardon?"

"Kiss me."

"Just drink this." Jun looked confused, but he figured as long as Sho drank the medicine, it'll be okay. It seems that that negotiation was the only thing Sho needed to obey.

Right after he emptied the spoon and tried to swallow the red contents, Sho pulled Jun towards them. Their lips meet and Jun angled his face for better access when he suddenly pulled away.

"It's bitter, right?" Sho smiled sweetly at him. That was when Jun realized that this was all part of Sho's cunning plan.

"It's all right. You're sweet anyway," and Jun went to kiss Sho again.
