"Sho-san."
Nino frowned to Sho who gave him sheepish smile.
"It's not a game if you don't put some effort into it."
"But I am trying," Sho whined, hoping he convinced Nino somehow.
"Then get the effing candy from me!"
Nino was in his competitive streak and Sho was the poor victim of it. Sho was surprised that Nino came by earlier this morning, boxes of magic stuff and video games in hand. He almost thought that Nino might be moving in with him but dismissed it anyway since Nino has this playful look on his eyes. He felt like an unlikely prey.
He scratched his head and welcomed the man. They had breakfast together and enjoyed the quiet morning individually.
Sho sat in the couch, the day's paper spread out in his hands while Nino shuffled trump cards in the floor and practiced various tricks with it beside Sho. He nudged Sho every now and then to pick a card and Sho grinned to the younger man when he got the cards right.
No words were exactly exchanged throughout the entire process until Nino was satisfied with his new tricks and proceeded to play with his DS. Sho ordered lunch, something fast to eat but will satisfy both their stomachs. He wouldn't want leftovers if Nino is involved. The man wouldn't eat for the sake of gaining stage clears.
The day went on with the comfortable presence of the other. That is when Nino cleared the last stage of his game about the nth time, Sho recalled, and was left with nothing to do.
Sho was taking down notes about the paper he was reading earlier and the couch dipped at Nino's weight as he sat down on Sho's side.
"I'm bored," he drawled.
"I can see that," Sho scribbled away effective ways to help out in the current financial crisis.
"How boring," Nino pouted.
He felt for his jean pockets and chucked out a candy in a red wrapper.
Obviously the candy would be red as well, Sho smiled at his silliness and continued on with his writing.
He felt the heavy gaze Nino was throwing at him and he heard a clink of teeth as the candy entered Nino's mouth.
"Sho-chan."
He called the other with an alert tone and at the turn of the other's head, he didn't give Sho a chance to grunt his answer when lips crushed into his.
Nino nipped at Sho's lips coaxing them apart. And that was the first time Sho tasted sweet kisses. The candy moved around Nino's mouth when their tongues met and he was quite surprised that the candy didn't slip into Nino's throat to suffocate him.
Sho tried to playfully swipe the candy away from the other's mouth but Nino noticed the challenge and things became heated.
The older man opened his mouth further, closing into Nino's deeper to reach the candy on the side of Nino's tongue and teeth. Nino wasn't the type to give up and did his best to keep the candy away from Sho's reach.
After minutes of nipping and sliding through each others' tongue, they needed to breathe again.
Nino pouted.
"You can do better than that."
Sho panted.
"I never steal candies from anyone's mouth yet."
"Then," Nino grinned loopsidedly, "we need to practice."
Sho groaned and was not able to protest for Nino was on him again.
Maybe Sho should play games more often than not.
