Title: Beyond
Fandom/Pairing: Arashi/ShoJun
Rating: safe!!
Notes: for maily.

Jun thinks that his relationship with Sho is complex. They weren't like Ohno and Nino, who wrap their arms around each other during certain times. Their relationship wasn't like Nino and Sho's, where on can make a rather rude comment, the other can reply with another one and at the end, they'll just laugh it off. Their's was a deep bond, encompassing the need for physical touches and meaningful words.

"Is it morning already?" Sho squinted as a ray of light from the window temporarily blinded him.

"Yes. And we're going to be late," answered Jun from the adjoining bathroom. At this, Sho pulled himself up and rubbed his eyes. Last night's events were still fresh on his mind and just thinking about them made his lips curl up.

"Ah yes, yes. We can't afford to be late," the older man grinned as he followed Jun to the bathroom. When Jun saw that unnaturally wide smile on his face, he gave him a weird look.

"I thought you weren't a morning person," he said, thinking aloud. At this, Sho smile just widened.

"That was before I started waking up next to you,"

There was a point in time when Jun got confused about things. Why Sho would rather hold Nino's hand; why Sho would rather put his arm around Ohno and why Aiba even got more attention than him--he all said this hypothetically, of course. Jun would never admit that he was jealous. At least, not in Sho's face. But Sho could see right through it and it sent him delightful shivers to know that Jun cares who his hand has touched.

Sho answered this with a chaste kiss on his lips and told him that what was on screen was fanservice and that he was far too special to feed as bait to fangirls. This seemed to make Jun happy (although he doesn't admit it out loud), if the smile on his lips was any indication.

"Ah, you're late," Nino said aloud, upon Sho and Jun's arrival.

"By a minute," Sho adds, placing his things on the nearby table. Jun did the same thing and afterwards took a place beside Aiba. Arashi's rapper then took a seat beside Nino, who was then playing some game on his DS. If you're curious about Ohno, he was spacing out on a seat next to Aiba.

"Taping is in half an hour," a staff member announced from the door. It was Ohno who got up first and stretched before going to make up. Nino followed soon after. Aiba was talking about something random to Jun, who was sending meaningful glances to Sho. Sho just gave him a small smile, a few steps away.

The glances were as far as they can go at times like these.

"Everyone, try some," the guest coaxed, trying to get the five and even Ogu-san to taste the cake in front of them. Jun took a bite obediently, muttering something of praise about the food. Soon, everyone was taking a piece of the confectionery that everything was quite a blur.

Jun was surprised when he felt a hand on his back. At first, he thought it was Aiba, who was the one he remembered closest to him, but when he looked beside him, he was say off. Sho was leaning towards the cake, using Jun's back as support. Arashi's youngest wanted to be subtle, as they were filming and all. His eyes were slightly questioning, slightly surprised but slightly (okay, maybe a bit more than that) happy.

Sho was too engrossed with the cake, grinning at Nino from the other end of the table. He wasn't allowing any chance for eye contact with Jun at all. It bothered Jun, of course. But this was a rare occurrence that he decided, to hell with answers. He'll just enjoy this moment.

After a seemingly long moment--which left Jun slightly tingly--Sho removed his hand from Jun's back and headed back to his usual place. For a moment, Sho's mouth was near Jun's ear, something the camera couldn't see. And the rapper took this chance to whisper:

"Just because it's Christmas. And I can't resist anymore,"
