There's something about the primary season - or, at least I think that's what it  is - that pushes Chris and me into bizarre policy conversations of the "this is the way to fix everything" variety. Most of our magic bullets would never fly because all of them screw someone in a pretty serious way. But

Oh, absolutely - I'm in the midst of trying to figure out how to get to Bloomington from the center of Indianapolis (for a conference) via bus (or whatever), and it's surprisingly difficult. So, yeah, I agree. At this point, at least, it would never work. But congestion pricing will be terrific if it takes hold...

I'm still a little skeptical of Obama... his policy positions have always seemed a little less progressive to me.

But lord, can that man give an inspiring speech, and I do like the fact that he's unafraid to break with what's worked in the past, at least rhetorically speaking. My fingers are crossed, to say the least.
