Seventh Seed; [Action] (Forward-dated to later this morning)

Jan 13, 2011 01:06

[Good morning, Luceti! If you happen to be out around the center of town this morning, you might notice some new... growths decorating the square grouping of shops. Vines spill out from the cracks of the Flower Shop's door by the dozen, twirling and twisting into cursive lettering that begins climbing up the shop's wall and accidentally spills over ( Read more... )

exciteable, going to get himself kicked out of that , getting the word out, he has terrible taste in decor, organic graffiti, jumping the gun a little, being social for once

[Army... Yeah, he doesn't really like the sound of it. But he's a curious child and he can't remember any Dumbledore in Heaven so this army probably isn't the same they were running away from. Besides, he wants flowers for the apartment so he has to enter anyway. See Goku enter and look around the shop on his own, half looking for someone in charge, half looking on at the plants and flowers.]

[Neville's more of a squatter than any sort of authority here, but he'll never turn down the chance to chat with someone curious! Especially the smaller folk.] Hello there! Is there something I can help you with?

Hi!

[Goku smiles brightly, this must be the owner of the place or something... Or just someone who wants to help, he really doesn't care about those details. Now, priorities first, the flowers!]

I want flowers for my home, to put on the windows, the snow is covering all the flowers now and anyway those would die... Are there flowers that won't die?

You mean -- flowers that won't die ever? [Neville's eyebrows raise, though he gives a good-natured laugh.] I'm afraid the only kind of flowers that stay the same forever are the ones that are made out of plastic.

[.... Huuuuh. Don't see that everyday.]

The hell? [Upon inspecting it closer, she notices it's a clear invitation for... whatever the hell Dumbledore's Army is.

... Luceti has an army?]

[It sounds like the signwork is doing its job and inviting people to stop! Neville doesn't take very long to react to a lingering presence outside.] Just a bit of an advertisement. Not too garish, is it?

A little over the top, but not too bad.

It'll certainly get attention.

Then it's doing its job right. [He nods decisively.] I'm Neville, by the way.

[She can't say she was expecting that, but the look of the vines is pretty nice anyway and it brings back some memories of the galleons and fifth year.]

That's impressive, Neville. [And she means it!]

[He can't help it! He's excitable as a newborn puppy when it comes to the DA.]

Really, Hermione? Thank you! That means a lot coming from you.

[She thinks it's so cute, too!]

Well, it's true. You've put a lot of effort into it. [Obviously.] Speaking of the DA, I've got a list of people I'd like to invite to the next meeting. Have you been scouting for us?

W-well I did my best to make sure it was readable. It's a spell I normally don't work without Luna. [He smiles sheepishly.] But I have been getting a good response from it! The people I've talked to seem really interested in getting a chance to see what we do firsthand.

[She's a little unsure about the army part, but...]

Wow, what did you do to make that? It's amazing!

Oh, it's nothing special... [Gaaah Neville's not accustomed to people being impressed with him. Pardon him while he shrinks back a little.] Just a touch of magic, is all.

I can't do anything like this, though. You can use magic?

Of course you can do something like that! Everyone here can use magic, if you really want to learn it.

[Arumat will just... stop and stare at this bizarre billboard, and the boy who is busy setting it up. Hadn't he learned his lesson after almost being eaten by that plant already?]

[These vines aren't sentient! It's okay! And he's been working with the Devil's Snare too! The latest sprouts are practically hugging him and calling him Daddy.

But when Arumat's lingered long enough, Neville will turn to wave hello. Hi there, Neighbor!]

You're organizing an army here?

[Not that he doesn't think that's a good idea, but... you're not exactly army material, lad.]

We're organizing a group to help people be less defenseless.

[He's material enough for this army, thanks.]
