The Aforementioned Update

Jun 02, 2005 18:50

Don't worry, the grounding was definetely not this indefinete. Sure it lasted a while, but then I just got lazy. Anyway, that doesn't matter now as you are getting the ginormous update you deserve.

After the initial grounding, it took me about a week to write all 200 paragraphs of "I have failed to be responsible for my behavios in the lunchroom. I have disrupted others and, possibly, have caused them to get into trouble. In the future, I will act appropriately and responsibly." It was excruciatingly boring, but I did it. Then, school ended.

God came to us upon this Earth and said that the last day of school would be good, and so it was.

The day opened slowly with a ceremonial recognition, forcing a 30-minute earlier alarm. We sat as school groups were rallied off by the principal, and stood for a sparing amount of time only when one of our clans were called. Standing, clapping, sitting, repeat. Then came part two of the borefest, the annual video. We were represented by all three of our school year forms, and then this year's activities were shown. I was in about four pictures, at the most, and then the long line of school pictures began to appear. I hate mine because it looks like I was choking. I most certainly was not, but the photographer made me laugh prior to the shot. Oh well, four seconds of time was not too much to bear. Anyway, the recognition dispersed, me and my friends stole donuts, and then we all went to homeroom. For about a minute. Then we all decided to screw the teachers and go find friends for yearbook signing. There was much joy as my gang just hung out with the cool teachers and didn't do anything important. But that, as the recognition had done before, broke up as well. Everyone went to their first period classes and started the yearbook signing thing over again with random acquaintances and missed friends. I went to Communications II and met with some borderline friends. Trading, signing, not caring, repeat. That got boring fast, just as it ended fast. Everyone moved on to the rest of their regular classes. In math we played Bunco, in science we signed yearbooks more, and in Physical Education we got all checked out. Then history/literature hit and the formula was mixed up. We actually checked worksheets and read some things - it was boring, but extremely easy. Finally, the day ended with a big movie. At least I think it did, because I wasn't watching the movie. Thankfully, Sam said yoink to me and Cody and we went and had fun cleaning Mr. Carpenter's room. Wierd thing is, it didn't take us two hours to clean his room, but we didn't see a single bit of the flick. We finished Mr. Carpenter's room really quick, so we went and hung with Mrs. Killion and went on little adventures all over the school. Whenever a teachers saw us they would give us popcorn or candy or pop, so it was certainly worth-while. Then, suddenly, the movie ended, school ended, we left.

But that was not the end of the day, oh no! After that, the tradition had to be upheld. What was the tradition, you ask me? Simply a shaving cream fight, I tell you. Oddly, it started out with a public service announcement from the local police. "If you put shaving cream on buildings or signs as vandalism, then this event will not happen next year." It started out responsibly enough, but as time went on the younger groups started up a little artistic movement. Me and Bryce tried to clean it a little, but then we realized that we wouldn't be here for this next year, anyways, and suddenly all responsibility was lifted from out shoulders. We didn't care, so we drop-kicked eachother. And others. Just a few others, I promise. But, anyway, that was the end of that.

For a while after, there was a lull in the action. Boredom ensued and blah blah blah. I got some stuff done when I actually registered my website, but then the action lulled again. I am making a couple new projects.

Speaking of which, I am getting kind of bored of this and I have nothing more to say. I'ma go work now.
