The Zero Gravity

May 26, 2007 12:43

Weightlessness is the experience during free-fall of having no apparent weight. Although the term 'zero gravity' is often used as a synonym, weightlessness in orbit is not the result of gravity itself being eliminated or even reduced significantly. Weightlessness (roughly speaking) occurs when a body (e.g. a person) is falling freely.

During the no-gravity period of time, it could be seen outside the window that the building was not, indeed, falling. At the time, this registered nothing, but upon reflection, it proposes two different things:
1. This place can defy the laws of physics
2. This place exists in two dimensions simultaneously, causing the fall of one to reflect into the other

Whereas the first is simpler, it breaks my mind it unscientific to just write off all odd occurances just because other explanations break your mind even more are unusual.

However, if this place can defy the laws of physics...

It could get very, very interesting here very soon.
