Oh yes, we all know it's because of the concussion, Arthur. *is very very doubtful* This is so much fun! In-denial-and-secretly-pining!Arthur is the bestest. I love the rambling style that is Arthur's inner monologue. And how he's desperately trying to convince himself that it's a concussion. Merlin is adorable here too when he's trying to tell Arthur that it's all a dream. Oh boys! *pets them* I really enjoyed reading and wouldn't say no if you perhaps decide to write more of it. :DDD

Thank you! In-denial Arthur is my favorite too and I'm so glad you like rambly!Arthur because that's sort of my style, in character or not! I don't know that there will be more -- this was written in a fit of insanity, and I'm almost ashamed to have posted it :) -- but I'll never say no! Thank you for reading!

*laughs* That was wonderful! I loved Arthur's interior voice. And this line - “So,” Arthur said, because common sense was common and he was royalty. “Let’s hear it, then.” *still laughing*

I'm really, really thrilled that Arthur's voice worked for you because it's not quite how Arthur is usually written (see: OOC-ness :), but I love the idea of him being all rambly in his head and quite stoic on the outside.
