series finales

I'm conflicted about the end of Life Unexpected. I guess they didn't have a lot of time and a wrap up is certainly better than none but I still don't know how I feel about it.

I only have 2 words for the writers of Medium. FUCK YOU!

I can't really think straight right now but when thinking of shows that had satisfying ends I think of Legend of ( Read more... )

logan is the sweetest character EVER! they HAVE to be together and i believe the ending of season 3 hinted at that, too.

LoVe was one of the best ships on TV ever!

I didn't hate the LUX finale, as I had read an interview of the show creator the day before where she explained all the things the network had forced her to give up or too integrate in season 2... In the end, considering her contraints, it was pretty good in my book!

The finale that left me raging was for Terminator The Sarah Connor chronicles... Talk about redefining cliffhanger... I also didn't love the Pushing Daisies finale...

Agreed with the TSCC finale. Want more show.

And I stopped watching Lux halfway through this past season, but I read the summary for the finale and the creator's words. I'm ok with it all, I guess.

I'd love to read that interview, do you know where you read it? I remember reading that Ryan and Cate were going to stay together and that though there would always be something between Baz and Cate it would never work out so I gave up on Baz and Cate and got on board with Ryan. I am a little annoyed that at the they are like "Oh wait, see this was our game plan all along and forget what we said before." I don't like being lied to as a form of misdirection. It really pisses me off. It's one of those cases where I got what I thought I wanted but it did not make sense character wise for Ryan to do that. It might have been okay if we'd seen that development over another season or 2 but to just throw that at us did not make sense to me. Maybe the interview would make me feel better about why they did that ( ... )

Here for the interview... And there's one similar on ausiello's new website I think!

And TTSCC ended on John being sent to afuture without john Connor to rescue Cameron's chip, where everybody including Allison, Derek, Reese, Riley etc were still alive... It was so good but omg talk about a cliffhanger! And Pushing Daisies had this 5 minute sequence where you saw that everything was working out for everybody, with emerson getting back his daughter and the aunts going back on the road, while Ned and Chuck remained in their untouching situation forever.. It was really lacking... either don't try to wrap things up or don't do it half way, you know?

still haven't seen the final BSG epi and also stopped watching PB during the final season...but I will watch both eventually! :-)

Lost...still bummed about the finale...it was the easiest way out and left so many questions unanswered!

VM...I don't think that the writers expected this to be the end...but at least they gave us a little hope that LoVe might happen in the future :-)

Robin Hood was a quite disappointing show finale IMHO...for once they should have never killed off Marian...they should have ended it right then...the final season wasn't that bad, but RH without Marian kind of sucks.

the series finale of Angel...it was a WTF? ending and ended right when the apocalypse started.

Moonlight...they started with a pretty cool plot in the final episodes and then it got cancelled

Blood Ties...very unsatisfying

and now spoil me...how did Medium end?

I know what happens and therefore I can't get myself to watch it *lol* I mean I spent all these years shipping K/L and then we find out that she's been dead for a while now and then flies off as a pigeon WTF?!

about Medium...LAME and sucktastic and sad!!! good thing I stopped watching!

Lost...I liked Sawyer & Juliet too and it was the better choice for him, but still...after everything Skate would have been great too...Jate is just so wrong...apart from all the other sucktastic storylines in the final few epis :-D

Yeah, I totally know what you mean. I still haven't even gone near the miniseries even though I am really missing pilots. I hope someday it wont hurt so much.

I enjoyed a few episodes of Medium very much but the end was just awful.

Haha. Yes Lost did lose its way at the end didn't it, heck, it lost its way a long time before that. No doubt that Ben was a fabulous character, I still wish the Others had never been introduced.

Dollhouse was pretty good and I applaud Fox (yes I just said that) for allowing Joss and Co to finish what they'd started with S2.

Ending to Gilmore Girls was good, but could have been better. Just happy they got Luke and Lorelei back together at the end.

Lost was pretty good.

Veronica Mars....They absolutely did not have time to wrap things up. It was on the bubble as it always was and a decision was not made prior to the season finale. Rob Thomas said that he wanted to make it hard for the network to end the show. But they did anyway :( All in all though, 3 seasons of a show like VM are about 2 1/2 more than you'd get on another network. So while I don't love the ending, I understand.

Pushing Daisies was ok for what time they were given.

Can't think of any others off the top of my head. Firefly sucked obviously, but that was never meant to be a series finale. Thanks goodness for the movie :)

Yes I agree, it is so unlike Fox to led anyone at least attempt closure and there was so much set up that we knew was going to happen so we really, really needed to get to the point. I'm not necessarily happy with every aspect of it but I am happy that it brought us to the end of the story even if we missed a lot in between.

All I remember was that Luke and Lorelei were together so that was enough for me :)

I had honestly given up thinking about Lost and what I wanted from the ending so I am glad about that because I couldn't be disappointed that way.

That's a really good point about VM, we should just be happy that we got as much as we did and I enjoyed all the seasons though I know a lot of people didn't.

I was thinking about Pushing Daisies and I cant for the life of me remember it so I didn't include it. Might be time for a rewatch.

I guess all series finales are bought to be hard to do, not everyone can be happy.

I am trying to remember but I don't. But I don't remember being mad at it so I guess that is a good thing. :)

Everyone got a happily ever after :) It skipped forward to when Piper and Leo were grandparents with a ton of grandkids and nieces and nephews around them.
