my mobile bills me after the month is done because they don't know how much I'll use each month.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that works for mine. I read somewhere that it's billed in advance though, so maybe they bill the minimum amount in advance and excesses are added onto the next bill.

Make sure you TELL THEM what pricks they are. It's the only way they MIGHT bother to get better.
