I don't know what would be the right thing to do this kind of situation, and I thank my lucky stars that I'm NOT the one who has to make such a decision, but this "solution" seems inappropriate.
Yep, it's all about the money....makes me almost glad I don't have any to worry about....almost!!
They're saying now that they have to think about the other actors and the crew on the show - who would be out of a job - so I guess it's their way of doing the "right thing" for everyone. But I still think it's tacky.
Apparently they're going to start out with the first episodes that they taped for this season and then have the father on the show die and see where it will go after that...I can't imagine it still being a comedy, but who knows?
