So last month dolimir_k dared me to write a story for her for a challenge she was going to put on. The Outsider Challenge didn't exactly happen but I wrote it for her birthday instead. I had just intended it for her viewing because I have never written fiction before. However she also requested I post it. So here it is.

Nah, I think it reads great as is. My mind drew a character without any problem. We know she's got a young child, so we guess her age, and she's got a physical job, but doesn't complain - so I think, yeah, she's in shape. And she's a player, coz she has the confidence that she could tempt the hero... so she's good looking.

It describes her without describing her, I think. ;)

My name is Lauren and you probably don't know me but I think you recently defriended me? It's ok I just felt bad that I'd never expressed my gratitude or let you know how much I've enjoyed being here and reading your posts. You're a truly spectacular person and it's been such a joy getting to know you, I'm just sorry we never got a chance to know each other better. My fault, I'm a big wussy plus I'm very socially challenged. Maybe it was for the best that I didn't make myself a nuisance LOL. But still for as stupid as I am it would've been even stupider to never say thank you or tell you for whatever it's worth that I think you're awesome and you've brought me alot of joy over the years. Thanks so much for this comment. However I did want to let you know that this is only my first story so I hope you are thinking of the right person. But I put you back on my friends list just in case. *g* I really only deleted people because I have been moving around fandoms so much recently and can't always keep up with who I have friended. I totally respect your right to be a lurker (I basically am too) but feel free to comment sometimes if you feel like it. I am really mellow!

You've shared some amazing insights, thoughts, memories and humor over the years, not simply in the form of stories.
