Doesn't Congress also authorize the president to go to war in the first place? I'm asking cuz' I don't exactly know, not to start a fight or anything. The president can't just go "Hey, I'm feelin' Libya today, let's start a war there," can he

Yes Congress does dictate terms about going to war but the PResident can send the troops in as peace keepers at anytime with rules of engagement that are defensive.

I personally don't believe that. But I am not a republican (though I am registered as one because I want to vote in the primaries). I am a conservative libertarian. Conservative comes first.

In either case I believe a complete wipe of all government offices of incumbents would be wonderful.
