FYI, voting for the removal of Saddam was premature at the time, and retarded in retrospect. I know you're all gung-ho and you wouldn't be able to feel proud if there weren't a war going on somewhere, but Iraq is the biggest debacle the US has been in for decades, and you can't defend it on ANY means ( ... )

Its not a non-issue for Americans. He had the potential to control a large percent of the worlds oil. Stopping that from happening is hugely important to our economy.

How about the Kurds? They are much better off than they were before.

And it is safer here in America because of the war. Al Queda can get more for its money by staying in the middle east and carrying out attacks than it can by attacking us here at home. Even terroroism comes down to the almighty dollar.

You know, I have the potential to control a huge part of the world's oil supply. My roommate's dog has the potential to control the city of Richmond - and from there, who knows? All she needs is some futuristic gene therapy to give her a mind capable of carrying her evil plans to fruition, and opposable thumbs ( ... )

I can name one thing one of our Senators has done. Hillary Clinton has continually voted for keeping women's rights. Which actually properly represents the general feeling of our state. And thanks to unrealistic numbers that fail to take into account previous shortfalls, making the growth prediction completely inaccurate, along with not taking the cost of the war into account properly.
