Hi there,

Hope all is well. :)

I sent you a PM to check your availability to do some comics commission work. You haven't gotten back to me. :( I thought I'd try one more time to get in touch with you. So...

Hallo? I love your artwork! Won't you please consider joining our project? *big bat eyes*

Thanks!
Theresa

Oh, gosh, I'm SO SORRY,
I did read the PM, but I'm such a tight spot at the moment (as mentioned in the post before, I've got to rush through some paintings to make a portfolio for an interview... among other stuff!!! @_@), that I didn't have time to answer you immediately.
I didn't want to send you a rushed note as an answer; you deserved more. But it seems I ended up sending you nothing at all...!
*begs forgiveness*

I wouldn't mind being in the project - it sounds awesome! But I've got hellish schedules and a few deadlines, so I'd love to have more details (deadline, number of pics, size, and all the rest) before I can give you a proper answer.

Gah, SO SORRY for the wait! >.<

So sorry to interfere with your prep! You can ignore me until things slow down. I just wanted to try you once again because a few of the authors on the project requested you specifically.

The project is Superman/Batman;

Commissions start at $75; Multiple commissions are available;

The zine will be produced electronically and in print, and you can have a print copy for free if you want it;

The project requires full page lineart; we have a professional inker, colorist and titler involved;

Commission selections start on October 4th and will be ongoing through December;

Lineart submissions start in November, and will be ongoing until everything is finished;

The book will be released on Dec. 30th.

There is a lot more. If you decide to join us, I'll send you the project correspondence. You can always drop out if it turns out you don't have time with no hard feelings. There are 12 other artists involved, some of whom you may know.

In any event, LMK when you get a chance! My email addy is in the PM I sent earlier.

Hugs,
Theresa

Oh, no, no, you didn't interfere at all, please be assured of that. :)
Your request was a pleasant surprise, and an honour, besides. Even more so because you're telling me that someone reqiested *me* specifically. That's so... HUGE. ♥ I was just caught me in a panicky moment. ^^:: (not my year is never *not* hectic, but I was taking my time with something, when suddenly I got the news I had no time at all, and... *bites bottom lip* we'll see how it goes)

So let me get this straight ~ in case, I'll be asked to submit pencils, right? Clean, detailed lineart for a professional inker and colourist to finish? If that's the case, then my chances of being part of the project just grew higher. I'm usually a decently fast penciller, it's the finishing part that takes me ages.

I'll let you know more as soon as I'm done with the current projects - the portfolio/interview, and a couple commissions. I should get back at you next week. If you don't hear from me, feel free to poke at me. :))))))))))))))))))))))
