Another chapter is done...

And I'm feeling pretty good about it so far. Although, sheesh, I always try to go back and read previous chapters just to keep everything straight, and I've set up a lot of stuff that will need to get resolved. Fortunately, half of the things are red herrings ( Read more... )

Family obligations are like that, aren't they? They drive you nuts, but... they *are* family.

Best of luck with getting the gig if it's still available. Oh, and I'm looking forward to reading the new chapter, whenever it comes out. Ice skating hasn't been enough to work off stress this week (and I'm off from work this week, no less!).

Just wanted to leave you a quick note (since Cm is still down and I can't do it on there0 that the chapter was awesome and certainly helped my day get a little better.

Sorry about the stress of the wedding, I was only semi involved in the planning of one wedding and I thought the bride and the people around her were going to be put the psychiatric unit of the hospital by the time it was all over. Too bad you had to turn down a good job though, hopefully things will work out and you'll still get it.

I loved the new chapter, as you know I love long ones! And I think your choice about where to end it was a good one.

Planning weddings can go so many different directions. I've been involved with picky people who only want it to be a certain way, but honestly, the ones who don't care and say "Do whatever you think" are almost worse, because you're helping with their wedding, not what you think their wedding should be. I'm sure your sister appreciates all the help.

I hope the job thing comes around. It's tough balancing family and job. Both are very important. You wouldn't be whole without them both. Striking a balance is very tricky though.

uck. I dread trying to plan my sisters bachlorette party next spring. I know that there is a bunch of stuff to do in chicago, but I've never undertaken such a huge thing before. Okay, so I planned a christening once, yeah, but that didn't involve naked men at any point, and I think that is a requirement for her party.
And now I have to go to ff.net and read your chappie.
