Sam has a bed, and a TV. The TV has a waist-high stack of DVDs piled next to it, and another slightly smaller stack of games. The TV has a console attached; it's probably a PS2, but Sam has no idea. At any rate, it has two controllers

Sam flops happily onto the bed. "I'm going to beat you so hard it'll hurt."

[stuck_mynock]

"I'm going t'beat you so hard your ancestors will feel it."

Beat.

"Few though they may be."

[necessary_child]

"Could you not just beat them?" Sam asks plaintively.

"Cuts out the middle-man, they actually deserve it, and anyway it's much more likely."
