hello Heather - I'm kinda new in these parts, so when I wanted to contact you after our 'discussion with 'fanha' et al on the 'how Christian is Christian Science' thread, I made you a friend, and posted a 'friends only' comment for you on my blog. - the only use of the blog so far, which created just so I could respond to that thread.

But apparently you didn't see that post... so here I am making contact this way. :-))

anyway, it was nice to have some moral support there - I've been monitoring the thread since, to see if David (fanha) has replied to my last reply to him, but nothing so far.

would enjoy chatting further with you, if you like.

regards,

Verndigger

Hey! anonymous February 22 2007, 21:59:13 UTC
I've always wondered the same thing. My grandmother broke that mold and worked as an ambulance/rescue person for many years. But my mom gave into peer pressure and married & had kids instead of her dream of pediatric nursing.

What babies might have been saved if women like my mom had followed their dream?

Anyway, don't be such a stranger! Send an email! It only takes the same amount of time as blogging. :)
