Free Comic Book Day

I was at Time Warp comics Saturday morning to sign things and draw stuff for "Free Comic Book Day". I always kind of dread this event. Those are frickin' delightful! A script, eh? I'm interested to hear how that goes. I've done that before but found it hard to stick to it. I'd get started and think I had a better idea than what was in the script and take off in a different direction ... only to later decide that I'm an idiot and should have either stuck to the script or done something else entirely.

What you described about your experience at Time Warp is how I've felt at most conventions. I hate the pressure of trying to draw characters I've never drawn before and have no reference for. It's insane!

By the way, I'm set to do the Denver Zine Fest 2008. Fun uncomfortable times ahead. Haw!
