Here's the scrapbook I made yesterday afternoon. It's nothing fancy, but YOU try making 6x6 scrapbook pages interesting when you are working with mostly 4x6 photos!

Sorry for the quality, the light is bad today. Oh, and yes, we DO need to launder our comforter. Having cats will do that.

The cover.

The first page, complete with picture of the capital.

First spread of Minnehaha Falls. This was in early April, I think. The falls were still partially frozen.

agh, bad photo. still Minnehaha falls. The left pic is of some exposed twisty roots and on the right, it says "we've both lived in the Twin Cities area our whole lives, but..." "we only just discovered the falls last year, right in the middle of Minneapolis!"

Next section is on the historical society and mill city museum. The "history matters" thing is actually from my History Center ticket. The fact that I cropped the close-up right around the word "story" was totally an accident but I love it.

Left: mill city museum. the bottom photo was taken from the 9th floor balcony of the museum itself, and you can see the Hennipen Ave Bridge and the Stone Arch Bridge. Also, St Anthony Falls is in the shot.
Right: Mall of america. it says "shopper's dream, introvert's nightmare" on the card at the top next to Underwater Adventures. The bottom card says "The Park, formerly Camp Snoopy" and "Magic Pan, best crepes in MN".

This section's just showing pics I took when I took the dragon to work with me. My boss is there on the left and Steve is on the right.

Left: my tattoo experience. Yeah, I actually had tattoo paper! Cool, huh?
Right: Front page of the General Mills World Headquarters section. Cory took the dragon to work on Friday.

Here's the executive wing on the left, and the Betty Crocker Kitchens on the right...

Poppin' Fresh on the left and the Cereal Floor on the right. There's another elevator on that floor with Lucky from lucky charms on the doors. also, yes, that is a 5 foot tall Frankenberry bobblehead.

Here's the Yolplait yogurt wall logo, made of yogurt containers. Can you spot the dragon?
On the right is our trip to Grand Ole Creamery.

The last page is just a note I wrote to the dragon's owner and family.
So there you go. 20 6x6 pages. I think I did pretty well, really.

In other news, the shower is working again! They replaced our showerhead and now we have WATER PRESSURE. it's amazing. I want to shower twice a day. They cleared the drain, too, so you aren't standing in 4 inches of soapy water by the end of your shower. Pretty cool.
We cleaned a lot today, as Kiah is coming to stay with us for two weeks while she takes a summer course. It will be awesome! We're planning on building a fort in the living room with blankets and cushions. :D
