A number of people have been lost to the Queensland floods, with many more missing.

But this, this is the most heartbreaking story I've heard so far.

A 13 year old boy, Jordan Rice, and his mother were swept away after Jordan told a rescuer to save his 10 year old brother first. This didn't happen in some rural town, it was in the Central Business

Some. Probably every day there is something about it.

I'm fine. I'm in Victoria, which has New South Wales in between it and Queensland (where the main floods are).
Even with the floods moving through VIC now, I'm still pretty far away from them. A lot luckier than most.
