I've found that with any creative endeavor, the hardest part is getting started. I'm going through the same thing with various projects I'm supposed to be working on; I think everyone does at one point or another. What works best for me is to find a quiet workspace with little or no distraction (i.e. as far away from the computer as humanly possible), turn on some good music and just doodle whatever comes to mind. Also, a long walk in the park with an Ipod never fails to inspire me whenever I'm having trouble coming up with ideas.
