And then mom has to go burst the bubble by saying "You haven't gotten the formal offer yet! - Don't burn your bridges!". Like I would; I'll take all the job offers I can get >.
My mother would probably say something like that too. Damn their practical natures. :p But yes, it could be like that-the only thing you need to get a job offer is another job offer! haha. :)
haven't talked to you in ages either. I'm still kicking about lj *grin* gearing up for y-con too. not writing lately though. must get back into the swing of that too, along with submitting stuff to your site to get uploaded.
Many congrats!! It's always so wonderful getting that job offer and not having to worry about those damned interviews. Though I wouldn't count on your stress being gone - a new and ever so much fun type of stress is ready to pounce. ;) But hey, at least you'll be paid to be stressed, right?
Yes! Paid to be stressed makes all the difference :)
This is the job I so didn't think I'd get because of all the competition, and it was the one I really wanted - and I got an offer! I think I'm still not over the shock. My reactions are very - delayed - today...
Now I just need the formal offer so I can sign on the dotted line...

Yes, 9am starts... but I've been doing this basically all week. The downside: they really cut into my gaming time!
Been working at the switch this morning; then moving outside in the afternoon. I get an early mark today! :)
