Following that little excursion, I hope you've all learned a thing or two. Knowledge is power, they say.

Go on, tell me what you've learned. The doctor is listening.

I can't say I've learned anything new from this...rather, it's reinforced what I've already known, which is not to trust something you don't understand.

To expect the unexpected. Especially in this crummy place! [Grumblegrumblesnarkmutter.]

That's a valuable lesson to learn so early in your stay here, I believe.

Bah. I suppose, but I could have done without being dumped into a freezing lake and tweeting like a bird. O-Or...

[Deep, long silence.]

N-Nevermind...!

No, no. Please, tell me more. If you would be so kind as to share your experience...

That's a bit condescending, isn't it?

[Yes, yes it is.]

Mmm, perhaps, but... Don't you feel it would be prudent to share any information acquired as a result of this?

If there's any information worth sharing, true. Most people will probably say, "Not to put my trust in mysterious letters," or something along those lines.

I take it you also avoided the portal.

Yes, there was something... fishy about the whole ordeal. I cannot believe so easily that a mysterious portal would appear to send us home, when it has been so difficult to find any clues relating to how one might do that before then.

Make sure there's nothing on the ground when you convince someone to turn back.

[A slight pause. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what that one implied.]

...Are you implying that someone tripped and fell in?

Yeah. [And he sounds quite miserable about the fact.]

I was so close to succeeding, too. Should've expected something like that to happen.

Now, I'm certain dragons can be quite the loving companions as long as you give them 3 square meals a day, clean their skin regularly, and keep your hands and feet a minimum of thirty feet from their jaws.
