How you are going to mix from Burn Sinister into the hi-energy EBM start of 'Until the End of the World' has utterly defeated me, unless you are using a remix.
You might want to re-think the order in which you play the tracks, as it currently jumps around all over the place :)
Yes Marie, you were right, I bow down to you...Ill re-think it for tonight....but I was told I would be following Damiens set, so I tried to go for NMA....I may go for Killing Miranda following NMA, and then see how it goes from there, so sort of ease into the EBM set...or, I may just remove KM from the set...
And Kev...I think Damien was going for a trial run tonight to see how many people showed up etc...but if requests are what you want, then Ill set up a website with a forum for requests etc, much like you guys have....
(my CD collection is still rather small, but its growing!)
But I do have lots of important stuff to do in the house.
Requests might be better from a sheet on the night - the only advantage doing requests in advance has is that if you don't have a track you can get it. (by buying the CD from the shop or ordering it...)
It does have disadvantages, from my observations there are problems such as:
*you could plan something based on someone's requests, only for them not to show
It was fun, just wish more people had turned up. And I didn't take the fucking car...grr, beer would have been good :-( What was up with that version of Blue Monday you played the intro sounded slightly differnt and the rest the same? Very odd... or was it the desk which Dan said was cutting bits off here and there and other stuff?

I would have normally blamed it being a copy, but it was the original version, bought earlier that day...so it was brand new....
Damien was still tweaking with the speakers during my set (put that down to the late start)...
Oh, and it was the Orgy cover, so it may explain the electronic bits...
