I've tried getting into tumblr, but I just can't. I miss people commenting and actual interaction. Also, the fact that people have been reblogged in wankstorms that make the Harry Potter fandom look like the pinnacle of sanity... kind of makes me afraid to say anything remotely controversial. :P

Tumblr is wonderful to look at, and there are some wonderful people over there, but generally it's less text/conversation based and more...sudden spasms of attention to things I barely have time to understand before it's over. It makes me feel ANCIENT sometimes, seriously. Although it's also visually gorgeous when I need to de-stress, so there's that.

Welcome back! I don't post a lot but I still lurk on LJ pretty regularly.

I'm quite surprised by how much I've come to enjoy Tumblr, but I don't do a lot of interacting with people. I feel a wee bit old there, too.
