I have weird problems with youtube videos, and livejournal's friends view. When I fir saw this post, it had the Cartman Polka video on it... It seemed to right, Cartman, CARTA. :(

As Lizzie mentioned (though failed to include as a REPLY to your comment) sometimes it's a cache/cookies issue. I get it sometimes if my friends view is like 100 entries and there's lots of embedded youtube stuff, it'll just take a few of them and run it for all of them.

They always talk about how the new web tech is improving our lives but I have yet to see any of it that doesn't spend 2 years pissing me right the fuck off before it starts working FOR me.

It's your cache/cookies. It does that to me about once every 2 weeks. Just shut down your browser and dump it and come back and all will be fine. Never had a problem with this til I started using Firefox, but this is just about the only annoyance I do find.

Yeah, I should probably do that. Firefox normally runs for over a week at a time and my computer hardly ever gets turned off.

Finally got to this last night. I wish the first presentation was longer so there could have been more details, especially about the natural history of what aspects of art (symmetry, symbolism, etc...) arose. That feels like it has potential to explain a lot.
