I'm from mandatory_metal and didn't think it would be proper to post this there.
One of my friends is being sued by the RIAA. This person largely engaged in filesharing via transfer networks (Mediafire, Rapidshare, etc.), although he did use some p2p services.
My question to you is--do you have any idea how likely it is someone will be caught downloading something via, say, Rapidshare? I think it is less likely than with p2p services, but still. That kind of thing scares the shit out of me.
