Naruto Multichapter Fic: Little Shuriken Girl Chapter 1

First installment of a little 5-6 chapter  Tenten/Neji fic I'm doing, edited by Missyquill. Thank you!

This first chapter is Tenten's backstory, which is very likely not cannon, but hey, Kishimoto didn't give us much info about her, so I elaborate. (or, perhaps completely make up) There's no Neji in this one, but he will be in all chapters hereafter

Although I'm mostly out of the Naruto fandom these days, I do keep an eye out for really good fics. And this fic pings me in all the important ways.

I love it when Tenten gets centre stage and a real background and character and life outside of Naruto background support. (has she gotten one yet in the manga?)And this one is shaping up to be a great fic.

"needles an ache that illogically won't go away with food" that really captures the poverty and desperation of Tenten's live, when hunger rules your life so much that she finds it strange that the death of her baby brother can't be healed with food.

Fight the writers block! Fight!

that was one of my favorite lines too!XD No, I don't think that Kishi's given her a backstory yet, but i don't keep up with the manga as well as i should... But then, Kishi never really focuses on the girls, so i like just making up my own version haha.

lol I go into battle daily, though so far it's slow going. The keep is well defended XD
