I've gone sort of back and forth on whether I like an empty house. I'm very much an introvert, so I like being alone and quiet. However, when I'm already feeling lonely, my empty house makes me more lonely. Luckily, in addition to being an introvert, I'm generally pretty happy, so putting on a movie or doing some other activity I like is usually enough to make me feel better.

Anyway, I'm glad things are going well for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they continue that way.
