Don't say I never get yeh owt

Connor always was the first one to get up. Even on days when he didn't have to get up, but Murphy did, he still found that he couldn't stay in bed once his retarded twin had slept through the second alarm. The only days that hadn't always been true were Christmas and birthdays, but as they got older and presents got less exciting the motivation for Murphy to jump out of bed at the same time as his twin had gotten less and less.

That was okay, it gave Connor time to get up, go next door to get the presents he'd hidden over there, and dump them on the end of Murphy's bed. The presents had been wrapped hurriedly in the few moments he got apart from his twin. Mostly in the mornings. He'd gone ahead and assumed that any presents for him had been similarly wrapped in the evenings when he passed out first.

... There had better be presents for him...

Amongst the gifts there was:

A small packet, wrapped in kitten paper
A lightweight box in blue paper
A heavy metalic gift bag
and Some senitmental bullshit that he wouldn't live down, but it reminded him of being kids back in Ireland and it still meant as much to him today as it did back then...

While he was waiting, he even managed to get Roller Derby to stay still long enough to tie a bow around her neck. It wasn't going to stay there for long though, as straight away she started to try to pull it off, or maybe just eat it. Shrugging, Connor picked the growing kitten up and dumped her on his brother's chest.

birthday boys!
