But the kitten was too excited playing with her new toy, that big red bow with newly shredded edges. She bounced, rolled and trashed her paws around, eventually poking Murphy on the face, granting him a little scratch on the cheek. "Oh, fuck off." He rubbed the wound, his eyes finally opening as he turned on his back again.
Connor was towering over him, looking expectant. It didn't take long before Murph' granted him a knowing smile.
"Happy birthday, brother."

But it didn't take long before he placed his eyes on the many packages placed all over the bed. "Fuck, Con'. Yeh outdid yerself this year!"
Connor had always been the thoughtful one when it came to presents, something that was truly hard to live up to every year. Every present usually had some meaning behind it.
"Yeh even got Roller somethin'!" He pointed out.
