You know what I loved about this? That I got it completely wrong! I thought it was Merlin, contemplating Arthur. And you know what's even better? It works both ways, like two beautiful sides of the same perfect coin. Thank you. :)

I'm normally not a huge fan of first person in fics, but I do believe you have converted me. This was adorable and bittersweet and AWWWWWWWW, and I would love to see some sort of continuation. Perhaps Merlin's pov, y/y?
