The sky was lightening towards dawn, turning that strange purpled-grey, draining the color out of the world. He didn't really need his starlight lenses at this point, not with as good as his night vision was, but he left them on as the fog began to disperse. Jill's brow knit as the sun rose, and a thin whimper slipped from her throat. She was dreaming, perhaps- the last threads of the fog slipping from her mind, and she looked (and sounded) less then happy. Her eyes half opened, and she didn't notice him at first, the only sound emerging from her throat was a croak.

He didn't move yet, still as a statue as he watched her awaken. She was distressed, that much he could tell from how her body had tensed as it moved back to consciousness out of deep paralyzed sleep.

Because she didn't look like she was going to lash out, he edged closer, reached out and touched her arm. "Jill?"

She inhaled sharply when he touched her, and her arm trembled under his hand. He could almost see the wheels turning, and she pulled away from him, not knowing why her muscles were protesting, but there was someone in her room-

"Who are you?" Her voice was even, if a bit hoarse.

It took him a moment, so used to the mask and uniform and so subsumed in Robin that her fear didn't make sense to him. Once he realized that of course she didn't know who he was, he smiled thinly and reached up, retracting the lenses.

"Robin." He shifted a bit, settling his weight on the balls of his feel. "Tim."
