To all my friends with IBS

I have a question for you! Does milk have an effect on your system in the negative direction? I've noticed that caffeine might not be so nice to me (which sucks, given my penchant for it.)

Now, I'm sure y'all might not want to out yourselves, so if'n you just want to send me an email, I'm sure you guys know my address (preferably my gmail acct.)

Milk and coffee (caffeinated or no). If I go off of milk and coffee for about a week, it's 50% better. Add fiber supplements to that, and it's 60% better.

On a related note, I can't eat stuffed crust pizza without feeling quite sick afterward.

i'm fine with milk. sometimes over-concentrated sugar gives me a headache or generally makes me feel unpleasant. i can eat candy and dessert and all that, but i dont like to eat a lot of it, and i cant pig out on it like i wish i could. cheeze used to make me feel kind of gross, but ever since i stopped eating meat, i no longer have a "too much cheese" feeling. i'm pretty satisfied with that!

Well, I have Crohn's Disease, which is an IBD. For me it really depends on the foods I eat. I heart caffiene, but it horrible for me. It makes my stomach feel really bad. Sometimes I drink caffiene because it's essential but Coffee and Mountain Dew are probably the worst things I could drink. Milk isn't too bad for me, but I have the problem of drinking too much of it. Fiber would probably be good for you, but fiber is not a very good thing for me to have at all. Fiber helps your body not to absorb as much fat from your food. Well, my stomach does that anyway so I don't necessarily need to worry about eating fiber.

I don't have IBS, and neither does my cousin, but this is an interesting side-note on milk. My cousin almost died from drinking store-bought milk as a small child, because his system was so used to farm-obtained milk, the extra preservatives was embalming him from the inside.
