[01 - Video] Arrival

[The video flicks on and Tammy is blinking in confusion at the journal. At the sight of the video on the page her eyes widen.]

Oh shi-

[The feed cuts off abruptly.

Roughly twenty minutes later, the video starts again. This time she's clearly expecting it. And in the background you can see she's now outside.

Her tone drips sarcasm. It reeks of sarcasm.

[Right, so, with everything he's seen here, Bobby should know to be more cautious and to think things through. But when he spots her outside while he's wandering around looking at the pumpkins, all of that logical stuff just kind of falls away. Because it's Kitty.

And then he's grinning widely, jogging towards her.]

Kit!

[If she doesn't stop him, he's probably going to hug her.]

[He grins a bit.]

If I get bored enough, I might take you up on that chemistry one. It's no math, but it's almost as good.

[There's a headshake at her question.]

As far as I know, no one's come up with one. Everyone seems to be from a really different world, and there's not really anything in common.

[She returns his grin with a half-smile of her own.]

I might have some math notes, but best save those for a rainy day.

[And yeah, she wasn't really holding her breath that there'd be any logic to be found here. She's still kind of thinking she's in the middle of a very elaborate dream.]

And do you believe what he said?

[He's only half joking.]

About our worlds being destroyed?

[There's a moment's pause while he considers that.]

I don't know. I mean, it's possible. But I also really don't like the idea of taking what he says at face value, with no proof either way.

[At his last comment she nods.]

Yeah. And it doesn't make sense; that kind of power isn't common, and those that have it...well. Why would they wield it in that manner?
