Bi-Monthly Update
It seems that way anyways. The 2-times a month thing, that is. I read all of my friends' LJs, but haven't really been contributing, so I figured it was my turn :P
Well, lately not much has been happening. Went to MetroCon in Tampa with Mon. Was fun, and we didn't even pay to get in! Hope they didn't try to track us down or anything <.<" o.o" >.>"
Not like we went to any of the events anyways, we were really there to pimp M's awesome art at a table her online friend had already purchased. Got to see a lot of costumes - Inu Yasha seems to have taken a back seat to Naruto as the cosplay as choice :P Saw a really good Payne(sp?) from FFXII...absolutely one of the best costumes I had seen in awhile. There was a large selection of thighs that should have been covered, could have dedicated an entire category to it for crying out loud.
I splurged a little bit on a statuette that I couldn't turn down. It was a hand-sculpted and hand-painted moogle (cast from the original, of course, or I probably wouldn't have been able to afford it!) Actually, I thought they were very moderately priced at around $10. The general theme was FFVII, and prices ranged from about $7 to almost $50. Not bad, considering that the quality was pretty high. The moogle has a spot next to Kasumi next to my computer monitor! I will gladly and shamelessly pimp the website, be sure to swing by: www.tailchaser-sushi.com
What else? Still playing WoW, though it is getting a short break to Halo 2, which I haven't picked up in almost 6 months. My 5|<1ll5 = not 1337 at the moment :( Guess a hiatus like that can rust the thumbs, so to speak. I forgot how much fun it was, and there are 4 new maps, 2 of which are SICK (Turf and Warlock come to mind) They are now all available for free now, so I got back into the swing of things just in time to not have to pay a dime :D
