It sounds complicated.

I've had the idea for a long time now to create some kind of an Arashi index, here in LJ. Not about the videos already subbed (we-make-storm, arashic-index and kazunari are already pretty amazing for that), but more about all the Arashi-related communities/journals. I would like to make a list of all the fansubs created until this day, to state if they are still active and ( Read more... )

For me it would be very useful. But that might be because, like you, I love to see things organized xD

Oh, thank you very much for your answer! The fact that it could help newcomers in the fandom, as well as past members, is what motivates me the most, I think. :)

I think that's why it's so useful ^^ I was inactive in the fandom for a few years because I was too busy with school, and when I came back almost all the communities I was in had died :( A list like this would make things a lot easier for newcomers and past members :D I'd really appreciate a list like that.

I was also inactive for a while, RL being pretty hectic. :) I joined the fandom around 2011. I do think that the situation at that time was completely different from nowadays. A lot of communities who were pretty active back then started closing their doors. Unfortunately, I can only understand their choice, considering the behaviour of some "fans".
I'm thinking about posting this in arashi-on, since I want to get as many feedbacks as possible before starting anything.
Again, thanks for the reply!

I read your posts here and on arashi-on regarding the index, but I do not want comment on this matter in public. I have my reasons. Because of that, I sent you a long PM about it. It should be in your LJ inbox. If it is not in your lj inbox, it is in the suspicious messages folder of your lj inbox. After you read that message, you will understand why I said the things I did. Even making a new account for the index won't help you. the mods of the comms that think you break their rules will find your real/main lj as and the ones of your helpers and you will end up in the way i mentioned in my PM.
