Well! Seems like the house experienced an explosion of population over the past week or so.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to listen to her, but...can you at, the very least, trust me?

Those rules? For your sake, follow them. Trust me, they're for your sake and everyone else's in this house. You probably don't want to learn them on your own.

I believe they mostly fall under common sense.

Perhaps you should have someone more respectable in charge of making announcements.

Nonetheless, you'd be surprised as to how many people forget them...

It's just a household announcement, it doesn't matter who makes it so long as they know what they're talking about. And since she's been in this building with us from the get-go, she's perfectly capable of making the announcement.
