I don't know if it was just me or what, but this last Psych episode was actually painful to watch.
This trend is making me start to believe, against my will, that Psych hit its peak in Season 3.
How do you go from supercool Lassy who can catch a shell he expels from his gun barrel to Lassy spinning his tires on the lawn? He's a cop, he would have taken evasive blah blah driving courses and stuff and know how to do the fancy trick to get traction.
Shawn's gone from a slacker genius with an eidetic memory to, frankly, a moron who remembers stuff good.
Jules is too on top of things to fall for the 'gentlemanly come-on' from a suspect.
And Gus... Gus isn't that desperate.
Honestly, the only thing I really liked about this episode was A) the fact Henry's starting to not belittle Shawn with every single sentence he utters and is actually starting to treat him kinda like a person, B) the fact that the former disturbs Shawn, C) that Shawn got poisoned...
Yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm happy because the character that used to be my most favoritest ever (in the history of ever) got poisoned and I honestly thought for a brief moment they were going to kill him off.
That means something important.
I'm starting to get behind this whole letter writing campaign to the Psych writers thing that people have been talking about.
