Hi I really loved the fic until the last couple chapters- I'm an anti-torture activist and I generally can't read it in fics, sorry! But well, I've spent some time with actual torture survivors so when I read about characters I like torturing others, I think of the people I know as their victims and I stop liking them so much. Becomes harder to read a fic when I don't like a character!

Still, I enjoy your Shawn and Elliot. Thanks for posting!

I'm sorry I squicked you 8[ Though, honestly, the dislike of the character was kinda what I was going for; John is in a very dark place right now in the fic, and is facing a crossroads that will change the course of his life. (I can't really say much more without spoiling the sequel.) Also, thank you so much for your honest criticism of it! It's hard to hear (read), but makes for better writing. As well as giving me a point of view I didn't have before. I'll probably not be as blase about it in the future 8]

so, so fun. I love that Shawn takes out Eliot and that they finally cleared up that tazering thing. :-) thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Shawn's totally badass. Or, at least, he can be. And I think Shawn's managed to get himself knocked unconscious with pretty much everything except a Wraith stunner now...

I love the dialogue in this fic. Everything just feels right. I laughed extremely loudly at Shawn's indignant rant on getting tased. Also, Eliot's sense of pride when Shawn knocks out the Goa'uld made me happy.

Thank you! Sometimes it's stupidly hard to get the voices right, but sometimes they just flow like magic. Those times are my favorite 8] And seriously. The only thing better than a cute and cuddly Shawn is a cute and cuddly Shawn that can take on evil alien overlords and knock them on their ass. Um.
