And oh, believe me, it's gonna happen--there's no way Shawn would let a pop-culture reference like that pass him by.

:D That line struck my funny bone really hard for some reason. I'm soooo glad that the sequel is starting to be posted now, and so sad that I thought It'd take longer and so didn't check for it and realize that it had been up for nearly a month. There is plently of fangirly squeeing going on on my end !!!!!!!

But, but, what about G? He can't be without his bestest buddy, can he?

You know that episode of NCIS:LA, where Sam was saying he'd worked almost all the places the James Bond movies took place? And how G mentioned that Sam wasn't going to be able to check Moonraker off his list, because he'd never worked in space? Well, I saw that and I thought to myself, Sam's a really determined guy. Let's just see what we can do about that. XD In my head-canon, this is where Sam REALLY was when he abandoned G to go to 'Yemen'. (Because while yes, that story arc was great, how much awesomer would it be if he was on temporary loan to the SGC during that time instead? Exactly.) And G didn't get to go because he's still listed as deceased in the government's records (because we all know how speedy government paperwork is), poor G.
Re: Jack--I can totally see him saying that, right? XD
