Okay, I have not seen the resolution so not spoilering! but when he first started telling Juliet I was already silently pleading for her not to be retconned...and then she got sick with something that causes memory loss and I was INTENSELY DISAPPOINTED, because it seems obvious that she will be. Which is so overdone I am hoping against hope they aren't that predictable. Mostly I'm pinning my hopes on Hank at least finding out properly and becoming an ally, cos if they make him go the whole denialdenialdenial path I will be really, really, upset, but have not the strength to break up with the show, I love my Nick/Monroe bond.

I just get so intensely frustrated with shows that drag out the "I can't tell them!" thing long past when any reasonable person really should have fucking told. Merlin wins for sheer ridiculousness, at this point Arthur just comes across as mentally deficient (though I haven't caught up yet, they should at least have come up with some spell that whenever he's about to find out his brain finds some other explanation. Please tell me they've done that??)

Ha, SUITS, not sure if you're watching, but they had a character strongly court a girl and when she finally said yes, he said he had to break up with her because he had a big secret that was really important that he couldn't tell her!!! WTF. Any reasonable person would be like, 'oh, hey, there is something I can't tell you right now, but if you can handle that, let's go out' so at least she gets the choice' AAAAAARGH.

TBH, the first part of the series Juliet was so invisible and lacking in character development I assumed they were going to either break up or have her be killed, which I would have been okay with, because she was barely there, but now they've made her into a really cool character, and yeah A VET. OMG I WANT TO READ THAT FIC

Yeah, I was just REALLY not ready for another series in my life where the main character's girlfriend gets fridged, so that's another thing I was worried about. And I was pleasantly surprised with every episode where she had some actual character development or got to defend herself or something. I basically don't care if TV shows have few or no female characters, but if they're going to have them, I want them not to suck
